Principal's Welcome Message
Dear Parents, Guardians, and Students,
As we enter the last quarter of the academic year, I want to take a moment to discuss the upcoming state testing and its importance.
State testing is an integral part of our education system, and it provides valuable insight into the academic progress of our students. The results of these tests help us identify areas of strength and weakness, and they also inform our instructional practices moving forward.
This year, our students in grades 3-5 will be taking the Ohio State Tests in English Language Arts, Mathematics, and Science. These tests are designed to measure student proficiency in these subjects and to ensure that they are meeting state standards.
While these tests are important, it is important to remember that they are just one measure of student achievement. We believe that every child has unique talents and strengths, and we strive to provide a well-rounded education that supports their individual growth and development.
As we prepare for these tests, we will be providing students with additional support and resources to help them succeed. This includes targeted instruction, practice tests, and study materials.
I want to encourage all students to do their best on these tests and to approach them with a positive attitude. It is normal to feel a little nervous, but remember that you have worked hard all year and are well-prepared.
As always, I want to remind parents and guardians that communication is key in ensuring the success of our students. If you have any questions or concerns about the upcoming state testing, please do not hesitate to reach out to your child's teacher or myself.
Thank you for your continued support and partnership in your child's education. Let's finish this year strong!
Sincerely,
Mrs. Bookman
Principal
