Principal's Welcome Message

Dear students, parents, and staff,
As we approach the conclusion of another fantastic academic year, I want to take a moment to reflect on our many accomplishments and share some important upcoming events. First and foremost, I am pleased to announce that our students have successfully completed all Spring End of Course Exams and Spring MAP Testing. Their hard work and dedication are commendable, and we are incredibly proud of their achievements.

Our seniors are eagerly anticipating the culmination of their high school journeys. We look forward to celebrating this significant milestone with them atour annual commencement ceremony, which will take place on Monday, June 3, 2024, at 7:30 p.m. at E.J. Thomas Hall. We hope to see many of you there to honor and support our graduates.

In athletics, we have had an outstanding season! Both our baseball and softball teams earned 1st Place in the Metro Athletic Conference, a testament to their hard work and teamwork. Congratulations go out to softball Coach Beth Dyer and baseball Coach Joe Peterson for being chosen as Coach of the Year for their respective sports in the Metro Athletic Conference! Well done, Coach Dyer and Coach Peterson!

Additionally, we are thrilled to announce that seven of our athletes have qualified for the state track and
field tournament. Notably, sophomore Trevor Dixon has qualified for state in both the long jump and high jump. Trevor placed first at Regionals and set a new school record with a high jump of 6' 5".

As we wrap up this school year, we would like to extend our gratitude to all students, parents, and staff for their support and dedication. We have had a memorable and successful year at Field High School, and your contributions have been invaluable. I wish you all a safe, relaxing, and enjoyable summer break. We look forward to seeing you again in the fall.
